Our Story
Kintsugi Dubai was born from a simple realization: Transformation is not something we only understand, it is something we experience.
Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold, honoring the fracture rather than hiding it. It reflects a deeper philosophy: that strength and value are not lost through breakage, but revealed through conscious repair.
Founder Nour Al Hassan, a Professional Executive and Life Coach, first introduced Kintsugi as a metaphor during an international coaching conference, illustrating how human growth often emerges through challenge and reconstruction. Inspired by a lifelong connection to art and art therapy principles, she began translating this philosophy into a lived experience.
What began as a single workshop revealed something profound.
As participants repair ceramic, they engage both creativity and awareness, integrating emotion with logic, reflection with action. The hands work with the material, while the mind observes patterns, responses, and choices. This integration creates a powerful shift: from simply understanding resilience, to embodying it.
Kintsugi evolved from an intimate art workshop into an international empowerment experience, with invitations to Italy, Romania, Sri Lanka, and beyond. Today, Kintsugi Dubai creates experiences that support human empowerment at a fundamental level, helping individuals reconnect with their inner structure, navigate change with clarity, and build the internal alignment that enables sustainable performance in both life and leadership.
Kintsugi is not only about restoring ceramic.
It is about restoring awareness of one’s capacity to rebuild with strength, intention, and meaning.
